Palpationsatlas - The result
of a collaboration between Springer-Verlag and Medplattform®
Books and
digital learning are not compatible? The latest project of Medplattform® proves
the opposite. In cooperation with Springer-Verlag, the founders and managing
directors Robin Bauer and Sandro Wolfram were able to create a
"living" book in the truest sense of the word. The palpation atlas
focuses on the practical procedure for palpating a wide variety of body
structures. Evidence-based technical texts are visualized during reading by
state-of-the-art anatomical representations. Invisible codes are hidden in
these illustrations, which can be scanned in a user-friendly way by the
smartphone or tablet with a corresponding app. At this moment, the book, which
up to this point has been conventional, comes to life. The corresponding
practical instructional video opens in line with the respective topic. In this
video, the respective palpatory procedure is practically demonstrated and
explained to the user. Look forward to hundreds of technical texts, anatomy
illustrations and instructional videos on the fascinating topic of palpation.
Under the ISBN:
978-3-662-64240-5, the palpation atlas, which is perfectly suited for
physiotherapists in training, study and profession, can be purchased
immediately wherever books are available.
This multimedia and digital approach reflects and advances the philosophy of Medplattform®. It also pursues the goal of a uniform and research-based approach in the medical-therapeutic sector. We would like to express our sincere thanks for the professional cooperation with Springer-Verlag and wish all readers much enjoyment and the greatest possible acquisition of knowledge.
